Who We Are

Emoyeni USA and Emoyeni South Africa together form the EMOYENI MISSION, a Christ-centered 501 (c)(3) public charity, founded in 2002 in response to South Africa’s rural orphan crisis.

We have offices in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and in Nelspruit, South Africa. Our work at present is primarily with the people of eManzana (formerly Badplaas), Elukwatini, Tjakastad and Mooiplaas in Mpumalanga Province, about 200 miles east of Johannesburg.

We are a growing family of ordinary people, passionate about expressing the love of Jesus Christ to the hurting children of South Africa and to the communities in which they live. We have assembled from many walks of life, and there are many different and deeply personal reasons why each of us has been drawn to this mission. Our binding, common creed – the one thing that unites us – is our faith in God. He is Father to the fatherless, and Hope for the hopeless.

Our greatest goal is to help orphans of all ages find, as we have, welcome and transformation as sons and daughters in His eternal family.

Beautiful, fragrant flowers for the next harvest. Paul said he thanked God that he always lead him in victory and through him diffused the fragrance of the knowledge of Jesus in every place. As we leave one season behind we look forward to the next and to our God to do the same for us and through us for his glory. Last week one of the farm staff got wonderfully saved and delivered from Satan's hand. May he be the first fruit of this next season. ... See MoreSee Less
